I celebrated my 70th Birthday in the Grand Riverview suite. The exceptional cleanliness,nstunning view and proximity to the city and other attractions make this a 5 star location.nI had some special requests which were granted with efficiency and cheerfulness.
The room is well equipped with everything you need. It's spacious for 3 people. It's clean. There is a fresh coffee available 24hrs. The only downside when we stay is the noises from the construction side next to the hotel that starts working from 7am.
Great location, easy walk to the ferry, Mends St restaurants, zoo and bike hire. Comfortable beds. Rooms are a bit bright overnight. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.
We stayed at The Peninsula apartments for two nights, room 206, the 12th and 13th of November 2025. The reason for our stay was for our wedding on the 13th November at Kings Park.nWhen we arrived at our apartment we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a bottle of bubbly and a nice card wishing us well for our wedding and future.nThe apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved that we could sit on the balcony and view the river and city lights.nWe had an order of our wedding bouquets and when they arrived the reception delivered those up to our room which was appreciated as at the time we were getting ready for our big day.nEvery staff member we encountered was very friendly and the receptionists were very helpful with anything we needed.nWe had a lot of well wishes from staff that saw us before we were picked up by our taxi, and as we are a same sex couple, nobody from The Peninsula made us feel uncomfortable at all, we felt very welcome and safe.nOverall, we had a great stay at The Peninsula apartments which was a big part of our wedding experience.nThe price was reasonable for an apartment stay in South Perth with a view of the Swan river.nWe would definitely recommend The Peninsula apartments to anyone looking to stay in South Perth and we would be happy to stay there again for a little get away.nThank you to all the staff.nPenny and Sabine
We stayed at the Peninsula Riverside and had the Grand Riverside suite and it was absolutely stunning.nThe room was HUGE with a separate kitchen and bathroom and open plan lounge/ diner. The bedroom was within the same space but could be sectioned off with sliding doors which was also amazing.nThe balcony was a wrap around and had the BEST views of the city. There was soo much space!nThe ferry to the city was a five minute walk away and bars / restaurants within the same distance.nnI want to personally thank all the ladies at reception for making us feel so welcome and going above and beyond to make our stay so wonderful. Of all the places we stayed in Australia on our trip, this hotel had the best staff.nThank you, we will be back!
