This hotel was perfect - the full height windows overlooking Kings Park made it feel almost rural, and the eucalyptus swaying in the breeze was almost meditative. I really appreciated the sustainability measures, and the water refill station was a great idea. But most outstanding were the staff. I’d injured my knee and everyone was so helpful - including the young lady who helped me with my bags out to my Uber after checking out. I really appreciated the help. Many thanks!
Lovely stay at Tribe. Rooms were small but bed was super comfortable and central location was very quiet. Harry and Manuel were very efficient and provided great service at the bar and restaurant. Small plates were yummy. Manuel made a superb negroni and was very knowledgeable about the drinks available. Recommended.
We stayed one night as we had a concert in Kings Park, rooms were small but the location made up for it. We were able to walk to the concert and back. Perfect!nWe had the breakfast buffet included in our room price, what a joke the buffet was! We went to breakfast at 9am Sunday morning and most things were gone and no one was refilling anything, we had to ask for basic things, like a knife, a cup, a plate. Left a bad taste for what was a pleasant night.
Wife and I stayed here 3 nights. Overall, okay. Enough but not great. Some positives are...nRoom was very clean and got serviced well.nClose to Kings Park but the park ain't spectacular, water refills was great and good coffee machine in the room, great big room windows - plenty of light, lots of switches. Some negatives are... not maintaining things properly, poor room service menu, spaces a very small, very tight on amenities, bathroom door is very heavy, no microwave, out of the city, transport goes up, ugly views, minimal customer service.
The hotel is good, room is small but comfortable and staff is friendly and kind, the location is also great. They could definitely improve the breakfast buffet, as it’s the same food every day, and a bit rough with boiled eggs on the shells, whole fruits not peeled or cut and very few options of food in general. The biggest problem with brekkie is that if you book the reservation with breakfast included it’s 56 dollars more, and if you buy the breakfast buffet when you are there is 25, so it was a big disappointment when I say that, paid 30 dollars extra per day for the breakfast included. The room window is the full height and width of the room, mine was directly to an office floor on the building next door, and there are no curtains, only roller blinds, so you have to close them all the way down if you want some privacy, far from ideal.
