Great place to park your vehicle especially during the weekend. They have day specials then which are value for money, especially if booked online. Car park is undercover and underground with lift or stairs access. As I have found, best to park early as it can be tricky after about 10am. Car park is at Domain and within walking distance of cbd.
Parking at the Wilson Car Park at the Domain felt less like a convenience and more like a low-budget apocalypse simulator.nnAll lifts were out of order, which is a fun surprise when you’re travelling with a pram. Cue dismantling said pram and hauling it up the stairs like I’m training for some sort of post-parenthood CrossFit event.nnThe “express walkway” deserves a special mention. It looks like a set rejected from a zombie film — dim, eerie, and giving off strong “you shouldn’t be here” energy. Still, we pushed on… only to discover once we’d walked all the way up that we couldn’t get back down again. Because yes — all the lifts were still broken.nnA homeless guy sleeping in the corner was the one who informed us there were no working lifts at all. Outstanding customer communication when the most helpful person on site doesn’t actually work there.
This was the perfect place to park to be in the heart of The Domain and to meet up with family for a picnic.nWhat a gorgeous park The Domain is.nParking was easy to book online. Easy to drive to from Wollongong. Just be aware of height restrictions. Would highly recommend this carpark
We came with friends in November 2025 with our kids and 2 prams and both elevators were out of service so we had to carry our prams and babies up two flights of stairs. Came back again in January 2026 thinking the elevators would be working by now but both lifts were still out of service. With no other way out we had to carry our prams and kids up the stairs again. Luckily both times I’ve come with my husband as I would have no way of getting out if I was by myself with the kids and the pram. Would have been nice to be notified prior to parking at this location. So just a heads up to parents with young kids and prams DONT PARK HERE!!! ELEVATORS OUT OF SERVICE!!!
Terrible experience. Both lifts don’t work and based on historical reviews it looks like it hasn’t worked for an extended period. Long enough that there appears to be permanent signage on the lifts notifying of this. Honestly disgraceful especially for those that require wheelchair access or have prams and young kids. Don’t bother replying to this comment unless there is an express commitment to actually get it fixed. Surely this makes the car park non compliant from a council perspective.
