Reviews
Pretty late on this review but considering past situations, this hospital is beyond foul for pushing unwanted and unwarranted tests on patients who exhibit literally no signs of a 'disease'. Some of your doctors and nurses are fantastic but during the COVID period - namely the foul immediate doctors in intensive care around October 2020 seeing to patients with excruciating pain due to severe pancreatitis, you only focus on shoving a stick up a nose and care of nothing else until this test that provides generally incredibly false results gives you a negative result that you decide to actually provide CARE to your patients. Doctor that saw to my husband, you deserve to be sued for your indiscretions.
Agonisingly slow. No answers. No-one here knows what's going on.nnEdit: after ferociously following up, I was told second hand info by a nurse, that I was told was from a doctor.nnIn total, a 6-hour ordeal for a dislocated knee. Despite coming in via ambulance directly from my kickboxing gym, I was booted back to the start front reception waiting room three times on a dislocated knee, without food, water, pain relief, answers, indication of lead time, or any real answers other than 'we're so busy'.nnThere were some individually lovely nurses which warrants the 1 star, but overall, the hospital is a sinking ship. They need to totally scrap the existing system and processes, and rebuild it from scratch.nnIt just shouldn't take 6 hours to pop a knee back in - the whole thing could have been solved in 2 minutes, and the circus easily prevented.
I’m very thankful to all the staff from the doctors and nurses who have given all their effort, dedication and attention during my stay for my surgery. You guys are amazing. Thank you so much. I really appreciate all you’ve done.nGod bless you all.
It was my first time ever experiencing a broken wrist and in hospital.nNevertheless a surgery of my life.nFrom walking into to the hospital,i have been put through an excellent hand, from orthopaedic surgeon Dr Jacob Santosh and the surgical teams, fracture clinic, hand therapy, reception staff's,admission nurse's,anaesthetic Dr and Ward D SW3 room 11 nurse's.nI am very grateful to the workers at the Dandenong Hospital, giving me confidence and hope through their professional and hard work.nI could never thank them enough for their humble but vital caring services to our community.
My mother is staying with me and yesterday had a small turn so I called an ambulance and mum went to Dandenong hospital in emergency, we waited for four hours to be seen by a doctor and finally we were seen by Jessica Lee Burgess who was lovely and apologised for the long wait and she was wonderful with my mother. The nurses were terrific too and nothing was too much trouble for them to help my mother. Thank you to the Doctor and the emergency staff.
