My hospital stay was exceptional from start to finish. The medical team was professional, attentive, and genuinely compassionate, making me feel safe and well cared for at every stage. The nurses were always responsive and kind, taking the time to explain everything clearly and ensure I was comfortable. I recently had the opportunity to be admitted to South Eastern Private Hospital, where I was cared for in Magnolia Ward, and I would like to sincerely express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care I received.nFrom admission to discharge, the standard of care was truly outstanding. The NUM, nursing staff, and all members of the multidisciplinary team were consistently professional, compassionate, and attentive. Every staff member treated me with dignity, kindness, and genuine empathy. It was clear that patient wellbeing is at the centre of everything they do.nA special mention to my treating doctor, Tony Amin, who was an exceptional clinician and a genuinely caring doctor. He took the time to listen, explain my treatment clearly, and ensure I felt safe and supported throughout my stay. His dedication and compassionate approach made a significant difference in my recovery. Also my infectious specialist was Dr Rad, he was truly awesome and very caring, he made sure that he checked my Markers very closely and adjusted the treatment accordingly.nI was also incredibly impressed to see the CEO and Director of Nursing conducting daily rounds and personally checking on patients. Despite their demanding roles, their visible presence and commitment to patient care reflected strong leadership and a culture of excellence within the hospital.nI would also like to acknowledge the environmental services and kitchen staff. They were consistently polite, respectful, and attentive. Cleanliness was maintained to a very high standard, and the meals were well-prepared and thoughtfully served. Their contribution played an important role in creating a comfortable and healing environment.nThe treatment I received was appropriate and timely, and I felt safe and well cared for at every stage. I was discharged confidently, knowing I had received the right care.nI would highly recommend South Eastern Private Hospital to anyone seeking high-quality, compassionate healthcare. My experience was overwhelmingly positive, and I am truly grateful to the entire team for their dedication and professionalism. I would highly recommend to everyone who really looking for a great rehab hospital.
Excellent care on Olinda Ward especially I felt so safe under the care of Dr. Khattak and Dr. Singh and their whole team who are so supportive, attentive and dedicated towards patient care. Also a huge thanks to the WIMIN’s group that has helped me a lot. No words are enough for me to thanks the whole team because I felt like family here and not just patient. Thank you!!!!
I have found the allied health team to be fantastic. Particularly my psychiatrist. However, the nursing staff are letting this facility down. Majorly. Of course I’m generalising but it feels like 95% of the nursing staff I have encountered no care for the people in their allocation. I’ve yet to witness a bedside handover. And each nurse is completely ignorant of patient history with one in particular admitting she had not opened my progress notes. I am feeling like I’m being mocked when my back is turned. As this facility has private mental health wards this disinterested approach was not something I was expecting.nAs it’s now the weekend, all specialists are of site, and the feeling on the ward is VERY different to the weekday support.
Avoid South Eastern Private Hospital.nnI am writing from a place of alarm and sorrow after witnessing multiple, avoidable incidents at South Eastern Private Hospital. The nurses I encountered were professional and compassionate — they themselves are clearly under-resourced. My concern is with systemic failures and governance decisions that allowed tragic outcomes to occur.nnDoctors and therapists themselves are not specifically the issue, more systemic and higher up. People running courses and fitness did well actually.nnMedical treatment on a human level is OK but I have seen medical treatment nearly end lives, through the simplest of errors that could be avoided with the simplest of standard operating procedures.nnIssues are systemic - the nurses were lovely humans.nnWhen I raised these issues, the hospital’s responses were impersonal and bureaucratic - almost seemed pathologically devoid of empathy in tone, which is ironic - which only reinforced my belief that problems are being minimised rather than fixed.nnThis hospital accepts public funding and MUST be held to account. If you value the lives and safety of your loved ones, remove them from this facility and escalate any concerns to regulatory bodies. I have submitted formal complaints and will pursue further actions to secure answers and accountability.
