Had a staycation and can definitely say home away from home, received a free upgrade and a complimentary bottle of bubbles. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful especially Ava I believe that was her namenOrdered room service and as chefs ourselves can say we were very impressed with the food, steak was cooked to perfection and chicken was delicious.nWill definitely recommend going here a quick getaway and will definitely be back 10/10
I’m honestly shocked this hotel carries the Crown branding. It feels like they’ve simply slapped the Crown logo on the old Holiday Inn and done next to nothing to update it.nThe rooms are small, dated and lack basic modern features. The TV is old, dark, and you can’t connect anything to it. Paint is peeling, walls are scuffed, and you can hear absolutely everything due to zero soundproofing. The bathroom has a shower-over-bath setup that belongs in the 90s — definitely not what you’d expect from a 5-star property.nThe hotel doesn’t link to the casino at all, so it doesn’t feel like part of the Crown precinct. The outdoor pool isn’t heated, making it basically unusable most of the year. No indoor pool either — which would have been fine if the outdoor pool was at least functional.nThe lobby areas are worn out, with old carpets, dirty sections and areas that literally creak when you stand on them. Nothing about it feels modern or refreshed.nHousekeeping is another major issue. We stayed for six nights and there was no cleaning service at all. They blame it on “environmental reasons,” but it’s hard to believe — it comes across more like a lack of staff or effort.nService at check-in was okay, but not what you expect from a Crown hotel — and definitely nowhere near the standard of Crown Melbourne, which feels luxurious and polished. Crown Promenade Perth feels like the poor cousin, an afterthought rather than a premium experience.nTo top it off, we were severely overcharged for parking.
For a six-night stay, the self check-in system charged us 26 nights of parking, leaving us $1,800 out of pocket. Even on a self-check-in system, how does it not automatically flag that a guest staying six nights wouldn’t need parking for 26? Now we have to wait 10–14 business days for a refund — highly inconvenient and totally unacceptable.nFor the price and the Crown name, this was extremely underwhelming. I wouldn’t stay here again.
No smart tv, so no Netflix etc when your travelling an d killing time. Expensive in house movies mostly old. Guiame restaurant had appalling music, totally intrusive and inappropriate. Arrived at 6pm and was told I need to give up my table 45 mins later. Empty at the time. Next waiter tells me no rush you. A stay until 7.30…. After I rushed thru my meal.nWon’t be back to crow. In W.A
No hand rail to get in and out of pool. Not fair on people that need it. Paying for pool can’t use. Tv in room very basic and $20 to watch an old film. Best part was the food at market and co. Not value for money. I would like to know why no online answers to reviews poor show!!!
Such poor service. I arrived early. There was zero effort made to make me comfortable. I asked if early check in was available. I was told I could have a room until noon for $550 ! Later I asked for somewhere to shower. I was told I could use an outdoor cold shower by the pool! When I got a room I ordered room service. Food took 45 mins to arrive and was cold! I sent it back. Then the tray was left outside my room for 12 hours. The only people who tried to help were the concierge who were helpful. Rooms are basic. Breakfast we had to walk to a different hotel. Not recommended
