Buy a used car is daunting experience because you expect to get ripped off. After a long time of looking at buying privately, I bought a Land Rover from Stephen and ended up trading in my car as well. I'm really pleased with the car I purchased even though everyone told me this model was a lemon and not to go near it and I was really pleased to be able to trust Stephen and his no nonsense approach. He even arranged for my lights to be fixed by his auto-electrician just before Christmas even without a warranty. I can highly recommend this small dealership for value for money, trustworthiness and excellent service.
Bought a 2016 BT50 from Stephen at Coughlan Motors, all via phone/email from W.A. Stephen answered all my questions, was honest and accurate with replies, and all in a timely manner. Shipping was arranged via CEVA, and after a few minor hiccups with these guys which were in no way attributable to Stephen, the vehicle was delivered to my door. The vehicle itself presented better than described, runs perfectly and was exactly what I needed to tow my boat. The service from Stephen was outstanding, and made buying this vehicle a pleasant, non-complicated kind of experience…something dealers in W.A should take note of. I will certainly get in touch with Stephen when I need future vehicles. Highly recommend Stephen and the team to anyone in the market for a quality vehicle.
Bought an 2006 MX5 NC hardtop convertible from Steve at Coughlan motors. Price was very good, and condition of the vehicle was excellent. There was no attempt to hide any of the very minor blemishes the car is 12 years old, which I was very happy to see, too many dealers try to "tart up" cars in my opinion. There were a couple of small issues that needed to be resolved, and Steve did all of "fixes" without question. Very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from Steve and Coughlan motors again.

Highly recommended, bought an audi a3 sports hatch and worth driving from Geelong . very happy with the car drives like new and buying with racv check your buying with confidence and has a great finance service and has a great selection of cars and will be back again to buy more cars for my triplets. Coughlan Motors go above and beyond in their customer service and in the quality of their cars. Nothing is too much trouble for this group and they are very knowledgable when it comes to cars.
I purchased a Lexus GS350 from Coughlan Motors and couldn't be happier. As luck would have it the car I bought had been the same one I'd been eyeing off at another dealership before it ended up there. The car and all their cars it seems come with a RACV inspections which was emailed to me before I even saw the car which gave me the confidence to buy it without test driving they arranged an inspection for me while it was at the detailers. I only had one issue with squeaky brakes which was sorted out promptly by the mechanic they use at no charge. If and when I'm back in the market to buy a car again I will definitely be a repeat customer
