It houses 22 inpatient beds and two full-time doctors.The Capricorn Coast Health service provides; emergency, acute inpatient services, rehabilitation, palliative care, residential aged care, women and family health programs, adult health programs, mental health programs and oral health services to the community. Capricorn Coast Hospital is considered to be in an Inner Regional Area as per the ASGC Remoteness Areas.

I had to have an emergency tooth pulled out this morning. I phoned the Yeppoon Hospital at 8am and the lady emailed my situation of needing an emergency tooth extraction. The lady told me to get to the hospital and I would need to wait as was booked out completely and they only had one dentist working. I told the lady at the front desk I would wait, its just I really needed it removed. I was then phoned at 9:30am as a cancellation had occurred and I could come back at 11am. I was so relieved and when I went in the Dentist, who I believe has just moved to Yeppoon, introduced himself and also his assistant. They were both exceptionally polite and made me feel welcome and calm. The tooth was removed easily and honestly I have not received such caring dentist. I am sorry I did not get their names ,including the lady at front desk as I would like to acknowledge them all here on Google. However, I can send a thank you card to the clinic. Would totally recommend the Yeppoon hospital for all services.

Very good hospital staffed by competent caring staff. Regrettably many of the patients are whinging bastards needing an aspirin or bandaid and complain loud and long about the place they find themselves in the priority queue behind accidents and emergency. That toe that was kicked a week ago and now all black and blue and swollen is not an emergency and should have been tended by your GP a few days ago. Read the sign outside it says "ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY"

Terrible service. Wasted a lot of my time. Needed an xray since last week but never got one. Very incompetent and unprofessional.
