Bunnings Maribyrnong

Bunnings is a great company. However the customer service by the greeters at the door leaves a lot to be desired. The two older women working at the door spoke to me incredibly disrespectfully today as I was leaving. As I am a cyclist I carry a small backpack when I am shopping. I was demanded quite aggressively I opened every compartment of it and was instructed to 'empty my pockets'. I have worked in customer service for a long time and this is simply not how to treat other humans let alone customers. It's very unfortunate as many of the other staff who helped me today were absolutely lovely. Those two older woman were plain nasty, people like that shouldn't be in customer service. This was incredibly embarrassing for both myself and more importantly for the company.

Please teach your employees to deal with the endless variables in your work place that result from running a business satisfying changing needs....Or hire people who have learnt this from living life. Explain their 'in principle' duties. Tried to get a gas bottle changed....with an employee standing at the front of the store 14 meters from the locked cage. First this involves spending 15 minuets calling around the store looking for someone capable of coming to the front of the store, picking up the key from this same individual, and carrying it the 14 meters to the cage...was this second individual specially trained (certificate 5 in padlock operating)? Was the individual at the front of the store told to just stand there and make calls to others to complete tasks, while ignoring your surroundings. I thought that initiative would be a job prerequisite. Save us from this pain. Avoid. 19/1/18

Amazing service, even kept their cool when asked to recook a sausage that wasn't quite 'well down' lol

Great has everything. Very big 2 level with escalator, lots of exercise, not many staff around during weekdays to ask for help but this seems to be a global trend.

First impression was good, I like their two level layout. But it got confusing cause half of the plumbing are on ground level and the other half on the top level. Got what I need in the end but had the ride their escalators a lot more than want.
