Will - What an absolute superstar! Not only did this man get me into my first ever VW but he made sure the entire process was smooth, comfortable, well-informed and most importantly - easy. He wasn't ever pushy and he wasn't a salesman who forced anything - his talent and knowledge is purely topnotch. He was easy to chat with and straight off the bat was honest in his customer service and care. Will went above and beyond, taking me multiple times for a 'spin' to see what style of VW suited my style of driving and the daily usage that I would be driving it around for. He allowed me to drive and answered all of the 6 million questions I had thanks Will On the day I picked it up, he had everything ready to go; including a beautiful BIG BOW just to highlight how special this exciting moment actually is for the customer AKA:me. I am so thankful that I found the perfect fit for me T-Cross 2022 Energy Orange with R-Line Package and I drove off with a huge smile on my face! Can not recommend WILL highly enough.
Woody my sales consultant I dealt with was fantastic to deal with. Communicated throughout the whole process. I was greeted kindly by the sales manager Martin. Smooth and easy handover process. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Outstanding service from the team!
I waited for 10 months for the arrival of my Tiguan. It was worth the wait. Will Dean kept me informed of the progress with regular phone calls .when the Tiguan was dispatched from Germany I followed the trip on the marine tracker. I am very happy with the service from Will Dean .
The service centre is an absolute joke. Massively overpriced yet still bumbling staff. We had our VW Polo serviced. Driveway drop off took 15 mins. The one day service and repairs turned into 2 days. No phone calls. We were on hold 2 times for well over 30 mins each time. First call they took a message and said they would call us back. They didn't. Second call we were trying to find out when we could come and get it as we needed a car for my wife's business over the weekend. When we finally got through they said "It won't be ready until Monday". It was now 4.55 pm and we were 20 mins away. They could no longer arrange a loan car as they were closing and wouldn't wait until we got there. The website says they are open untill 5.30 but they said closes at 5.00 pm. This meant we had to hire a car. If there was a zero star option I would use it. Do not go here... ever.
Would be great cars but VW doesn't honour their warranty. My car is 18 months old and first they blamed me for causing the defect and then they changed to saying it's a maintenance issue and they won't fix it. I've provided my own evidence that the defect existed at delivery. Austral Volkswagen service centre have also confirmed that was the case, but they flat out refuse to fix it under warranty. I have contacted VW Australia and not receive any reply interaction reference number 20221107-03732525. I now need to go to Ultratune to get it fixed. So if you fork out the premium money for a nice VW, you need to budget a little extra for repairs within the warranty period. Not only disappointing but also against the Australian Consumer Law but apparently they don't care too much about that.
Can't trust them as far you can through them. Do yourself a favour and skip this place. No one genuine person at this place looking out for their customers. Good one Austral.
I found the team very helpful and thoughtful throughout the whole process. I had Woody assist me and he was willing to answer any question I had and he explained the features of the car thoroughly, which really helped me in deciding to purchase the vehicle. I didn’t feel like I was rushed and I felt comfortable making the purchase. Highly recommended !
We bought a new Tiguan Allspace through Austral Volkswagan and the team here is amazing! The whole team was super helpful, their knowledge on the car was 2nd-to-none, they always returned our calls or emails promptly with any answers we were after, and did a great job to ensure we were happy with the level of service we were getting. Thanks Sam and the rest of the team, we couldn't be happier that we came to see Austral when we were on the search for a new car.
First car bought in my entire life T-Cross from VW. I from Europe and did not want to buy a car other than German Brand. It is a really nice car to drive, awesome noise protection from roads/traffic/streets/roads. Very easy to drive and comfortable at all levels. But I have to say that it is bothering that the sensors, front assist and lane assist the worst from my own opinion are just the worst. Lane assist is TOO sensitive, and turn the car to left without asking you anything. Just dangerous as it turns sometimes for "no reason". Front assist it's just aweful. I live along the street and I have a little difference btw the road and the driveway. After coming back from services today, I showed them footage of how it could be so unsafe for my car to stop in the middle of the road. Drove my car back home. Few hours later decided to leave and .... my car stopped again in the middle of the road. I fraking knew it would so I explicitly waited for no cars around well until the traffic light turns red right. It is sooooo disappointing from a German car. The worst is you cannot even turn it off. No. You have to turn it off ALL THE TIME YOU USE THE CAR!!! So my morning routine is: - like everyone: turn the car on, wait a bit for warm up, plug your phone, GPS, music and go. Well here my routine VW TCROSS: - turn the car on, warm up, wait until THE SCREEN WORKS to plug my phone otherwise it doesn't work hey!, plug my phone, GPS, music, turn off Lane assist, turn off "start and go", turn off the front assist, and go. Add three more things in my every day car routine, how annoying is that?? - I also wait twice 8hours for servicing my car... dropped off first things in the morning than finished at 3pm... Really disappointing for a German Auto as I was expecting a lot more than that. Overall, if you remove the start process, I enjoy driving my car!
