Fantastic customer service by Saira hope I spelt the name right. I didn't know as customers that there was a price comparison check on products which today saved me a lot of money. Lots of services available here, including dog grooming, veterinary services etc. Excellent range of products in this expansive well run store.
Yanna is the best groomer! I’ve taken my 2 elderly Griffons to her for the past few years .So gentle & caring. My girls always look so beautiful after. Well worth the travel across the bridge since she moved from Wairau to the Richmond store.
Our kitty has been under the weather recently and we talked to Laura clinic manager and vet nurse several times and she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We felt she always had our pets best interest in mind and gave great advice. Highly recommend Laura
Booked online for grooming. Yoyo did an amazing job! Great demeanour with the dog, friendly and gave good advice when I asked if his face couldbe cut a certain way.
Firstly, just read a review stating lots of services inc. veterinary services but they haven’t had a vet there for weeks, maybe 2months and mainly temps prior to that who messed our records up. The receptionist/vet nurse and Irish vet sorry can’t recall name we got to see once before they went to work elsewhere were great tho.nHave spent thousands at animates especially recently and a lot generally over the last 6 years.nBut I won’t be any more.nMy partner and I complained recently when the Richmond Road branch only had temp vets and one of them put his details in wrong which messed with his my puppy vaccination timeline and us and once this was realised it wasn’t corrected in the system which quite frankly could’ve potentially affected my dog.nAt the least it was annoying, time wasting, confusing and unprofessional.nSo, I take him to the groomers, I booked an appointment. For a simple hygiene groom. The quickest on the menu excluding the extras offered but can’t actually book using the booking system.nYet, it has been over 2.5 hours since he was left there. 40min ago we went to pick him up prepared to wait 10min or so. In fact when we arrived we were told 10min so at this stage, although a little frustrated noting it was packed, literally dogs everywhere and semi out of control, we only had 10min to go.nStill waiting. Have just been told another 10min. So that’s 50min from when we asked and were told 10min.nMy time has been spent sitting in my car watching it get dark outside. I have plenty of things I could be doing with my time.nWorse, the dog is going to be anxious and stressed given the chaos I’ve witnessed and the time well over hours to have a hygiene groom. He isn’t a difficult dog to groom so there’s no excuses.nI can’t believe, as a business, those in charge let this happen.nI’ll be sure to inform all I know not to use animates if they know what’s good for them.nAnd their animals.
