What a beautiful place to bring our new baby into this world. We are so grateful to the amazing staff (the midwives, Midwifery students, doctors, cleaners, food staff) who made the experience so pleasant. All our questions were answered and our baby and my wife were cared for as if they were an extension of their family. Inspiring work. Special thanks to Michelle and Sarah the amazing midwives that got us through the birth.

My recent stay at the Angliss Hospital was excellent. Particularly impressed by the nursing staff who showed exceptional care, attention and professionalism. I felt looked after at every stage of the process. Thank you.

Doctors (found root cause of my illness quickly and gave me the solution straight away) and Nurses are great , but if you go in there (whether you stay or not sure you stay in the hospital) make sure you take all your medications even if you are very sick - as their processes in getting your medications (what you take at home- Triage nurse forget to ask or they forget to load into system or the lead time from doctor authorisation to when you get your tablets or puffers can be over 2 days as the hospital chemist closes at 5pm). This process is terrible. Also make sure you take something warm clothes to wear as they do not have blankets (spare) at all (air con is freezing) if you are over 70s take your trakies to keep warm.

I'd get better care at a vet...I was there approx 5 yr ago with gall bladder symptoms despite having it removed..I was accused if being a drug seeker and sent away... turns out I needed an ercp with a stent...no more attacks. ..I returned approx 3 yr ago as I had heart palpitations and passed out.bloods ECG all normal .and I was sent away. Turns out I my right side of my heart is enlarged... Then 1 yr ago I was involved in a car accident.. I was complaining about shoulder pain neck head pain and nausea..I was given anti nausea and panadol and sent away.. Turns out I had done my AC joint. And a prolapse in my neck. So sad that a hospital like this is more interested in getting people in and out without giving thorough treatment for a correct diagnosis. Sad that I was forced to seek treatment elsewhere and delay my treatment.. Just sad...

Imaging department process was straight forward, with a reassuring and experienced nurse facilitating the preparation and post scan procedure. The actual CT operator was a bit impersonal and could have done with an improved 'bedside manner' but perhaps it was 'Friday afternoon syndrome' and the scanning process was facilitated competently enough.
