Titi Restaurant

We were visiting Dunedin during our vacation and our daughter had given us a gift certificate to Titi for Christmas, knowing that we would be visiting Dunedin. We are so glad that she did.nnThe restaurant is right across from the beach in Dunedin. We had a reservation and were seated at a front table with that beautiful view.nnOur two waitresses were polite, friendly, informative, and attentive throughout the meal. They were always there if we needed something, but were not intrusive in any way.nnThe food was fantastic! We started with cocktails--the drink of the week a peach bellini for me and a gin, grapefruit, and lemonade for my husband. Both were very good. I later ordered a mojito and it was also excellent. They only offer a faux nonalcohol mojito on their menu, but I just asked if they could add rum to it for me, which the bartender was happy to donnWe ordered the mushroom and edamame dumplings and the prawn toastie like a grilled cheese with prawn on it for our starters. Then, my husband had the fish of the day, which was monk fish served over potatoes and green beans. The fish was flaky, flavorful, and melted in your mouth. I ordered the haloumi dish, which was their vegetarian main dish. The cheese was perfectly toasted and like the other dishes, was delicious!nnIf you are looking for a restaurant with a beautiful view, great food, and craft cocktails, look no further. Titi should definitely be on your list of restaurants in Dunedin to try.

Delicious meals and lovely ambiance~ Staff were very accomodating. We had a 5 course dinner set here that we requested to have some variations with it. Servings are just enough to last you till the dessert part of the course. Pricing is enough as each meal is as tasty as it looks. Overall, we had a great timez Will come back again next time.

A new favourite dining place in Dunedin with a lovely view of St. Clair Beach. You can choose to have three or five course meal for dinner and they even take the pain of choosing your meal from you by doing 'Trust the Chef' set course. The restaurant's ambient is calm and peaceful. The staff were friendly and attentive to your needs. It amazes me how well they described each course to us because we didn't know what we were getting. They asked us about our diet requirement before we embarked on our exciting gastronomic journey. The foods of course were superb. The portion is neither too small nor too big. Each course was delivered to our table in a timely manner. Each meal was an explosion of different taste and texture that blended harmoniously. Complement to the Chef!

We enjoyed the 5 course meal. We loved not knowing what we were getting and enjoyed every plate! All very flavourful. The waiter gave great service, they even ensured we got away on time to our comedy show. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere by the beach. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try more!
