Starfish Cafe & Bar

Starfish is a cosy cafe just off the beachside promenade, with tables out front and also in cosy nooks spread over the ground and first floor. Staff are friendly and efficient, warning of a 20-minute delay on our coffees, which turned out to be only ten. The kitchen team worked wonders and our order for a party of five was only a further ten minutes behind the drinks. Food portions were generous and tasty. The menu had a wide range of choices for all tastes and preferences. Recommended.

An extremely busy Cafe. And whilst it’s far from the most atmospheric venue and the service lacks any real quality the food and coffee more than make up for it. The starfish stack was just what was called for after a night out. It was tasty and filling. Yes it would have been nice had the hash browns been made in house but that’s a wee niggle. Better service and this would be a five star review. I feel the staff are simply over whelmed as the cafe is simply over run.

First time visiting this restaurant not bad at all , loved the venue with its hardwood floors and old style look and so close to the beach we found the staff super nice and polite and very helpful , the food arrived in a good time ! And it didn't disappoint so overall a great place to eat ,drink ,or just hang out

There are a couple of cafes you can find around St.Clair Beach and this cafe is a good one. I often come here for breakfast on Sunday not only because it opens early but they have a good selection of delicious foods both in their menu and food cabinet. The okonomiyaki pancake and cinnamon rolls are definitely my favourite. They also have few sweet treats in their food cabinet. The staff are friendly and accomodating. Do come and try this cafe when you are around the area, you won't be disappointed.

I tried egg Benedict with fried chicken for breakfast . The combination of perfectly poached eggs, tender fried chicken, and creamy hollandaise sauce was very tasty. The fried chicken felt very fresh and flavorsome. Cinnamon scroll with butter was mouth watering. The coffee was okay. I will gladly return to try another satisfying meal.
