The food taking a very long time in between starter-mains-dessert. We ordered a starter to share but did not give us extra plates. Also sundae taking awhile to be served. The seafood chowder is not brilliant taste yet but worth the price. Stuff service is great. But food service literally slow

We went for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful with my gluten, dairy and egg free meal. Food was great too :

Eggs bene eggs undercooked with raw egg white. Had to go downstairs to order coffees which never arrived.  Had to go downstairs again to reorder and then took ages to deliver. Chicken burger and chips were good. Staff appeared totally disinterested and congregate around downstairs bar. Restaurant not busy.nAddition. Been to salt many times -dined in restaurant area and went down to bar area today. Never had experience like this before

Croissant with bacon and banana. Bacon way over cooked, dry and chewy, just two rashers. Banana not caramelized, not even heated. Underwhelmed, not that cheap. Eggs on toast with side of bacon, again bacon overcooked dry chewy bacon. Disappointing. Otherwise service and atmosphere great. Kitchen let the place down.
