A nice place to shop but it would be perfect if they have self check out to pay.
The Warehouse Hornby is a convenient one-stop shop, perfectly located near major retailers like Hub Mall and Briscoes. Its central position makes errands efficient and hassle-free. Only downside I could think of is its parking. While there’s ample parking given that it’s close to all these stores, the closest ones to Warehouse do get busy. Getting in and out of this area can be difficult too, so time the shopping wisely.
Shocking experience. Went in to return a faulty item I bought.nstill had the receipt and packaging.nnThe staff member at customer service looked at me like I was scamming them. She called over another person, and they both stood there arguing in front of me about “store policy” even though the return policy clearly said 30 days.nnI was made to wait nearly 25 minutes while they “checked with the manager” who never showed up. No apology, no refund — just told to come back another day.
Friendly staff who are always helpful, a well-organized store, great prices – just like the ads say, it’s the perfect place to grab a bargain!
Went to Hornby warehouse around 8:30pm, was at the cashier getting my things while being in my phone with my mum as she is currently unwell, was told by the manager or a lady working there that it was rude to be on my phone was told to get my things after finishing my call. The guy that cashed my things had nothing to do with this. But I thought it was extremely rude I felt that she was racist, I have seen many many times people being on their phone but never been told that. I had a smile on I greeted the cashier nicely. I think staff needs to really think what a customer could be going through. Extremely disappointing. I could have said so much more she couldn’t even look me in the eyes at the end. I work in a customer service industry myself and this is not the way to treat customers especially when you don’t know what is happening in their lives. FYI the lady had a navy blue top on she seemed very anti. Id rather drive go to riccarton warehouse than coming to Hornby.
