What a great stay, gorgeous food and clean rooms Thank you Mike and staff for your hospitality definitely recommend anyone to stay there.
The backpacker is full of history, since 1888. The bar is running very popular, beer and food are wonderful. Sports channel available. The accomodation is very basic and worth to the price.
A wonderful rave fantastic music and atmosphere could have been in Ireland. Xxxx
There is a great sense of welcome to a wide range of people. Sitting outside or in you can enjoy some tasty meals.The chips are delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Good parking, room was just alright, staff was kind also free breakfast included in this price! Breakfast was just cereal, bread with jam and butter, waffles, juice, tea and coffee but still it's free. Breakfast time was bit late though. between 9-10 am.
Good food and beer selection with great service. Relaxed atmosphere that suits a post ride drink or dinner and drinks with friends. Large garden bar for the warmer days. I knew we were going to be friends when the guest beer was Bird Dog!
Great spot to have a cold bevvie after finishing the Heaphy Track
Nice tidy bar here,had some good menu's aswell we will be going for tea here soon.
