Nice central location in Nelson.nThe facilities are really nice here, spacious common areas and always clean and tidy.nWe spent Christmas here and had a really good time!nnDon’t be discouraged if there is a cranky lady in the reception, the other staff are really nice! Especially the owner? was super sweet:
A nice, clean and well maintained hostel in the middle of Nelson. The staff works hard, Royce and Linda are always there to help you and make you feel at home. We have been back here three times and recommend everyone to sleep at the YHA Nelson.
Nice hostel, clean, great location. Staff friendly and really helpful. I wanted to go to Abel Tasman and they really helped me out making the right decision. They always have some spots left to book a last minute tour for their guests, which is great.nThe hostel is located in the middle of the city, close to everything you need.
Don’t stay here unless your plans are solid. My plans changed and Expedia says their rules meant we couldn’t get a refund from them but might if we went direct to the hotel. Despite us wanting to change our dates from a 5 day stay to a 9 day stay later in the month the hotel refused. This was 4 days before we were due. They state fully-refundable on their website - but check the small print. You’ve not only lost a 9 day stay but we shall never book here - your loss!
A great affordable accomodation option in central Nelson. Great facilities with multiple places to hang out including a nice sunny garden.nStayed in a dorm which was very cheap and all I needed.nStaff were very helpful.nWould recommend and would definitely stay again.
