Nice and helpful staff, beautifully decorated rooms, an extended garden area with BBQ, hammocks and a spa pool and a sunny balcony and conservatory with views. The Colonial Villa has a special charm with it's high ceilings, spacious rooms, wide windows, old fireplaces and chandeliers.
A place to relax in and a base to explore one of the most interesting cities in New Zealand, rich in art and culture, which enjoys 2500 hours of sunshine per year. Further afield are the Abel Tasman, Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes national parks.
