Good pub in Nelson, nicely fitted out and nice outdoor seating area in the square. Plenty of tasty things on the menu and refreshing beers a few guest ones are rotated according to the bar staff. Worth a visit if in Nelson.

Our favourite pub in Nelson. Food was great, bar staff were all super friendly and helpful. We may have come here 4 times in 3 days... lol
Great pub food with a awesome outdoor area looking up at the Cathedral. Cheap Lunch menu. Staff are very friendly and turn out excellent food
So I didn't know what to expect diving into a buttermilk chicken donut with lashes of bacon, but boy was I suitably impressed. A very sweet and savoury meal all in one go. It went nicely with the mac's fejoa, pear and elderflower drink and both were very very moreish.
Excellent food and selection of beer. This is the place to go if you want to have a MAC beer from tap! Staff very nice and efficient. Just as nice seating on the outside as on the inside.
Though nice to sit outside and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was very over priced, $35 for a beer, cider and a flat bread that was very average, wasn’t eaten. disappointing as was recommended by local. I wouldn’t go back.
Went for dinner. Well portioned plates. Very tasty food. Even happy to change out some ingredients I couldn't eat.
