The staff here are lovely. Came here for the great atmosphere we read about online but this is definitely just a local pub. Food was just standard pub food and overpriced for what it was.

We had lovely meals and execellent service from our waitress Diane tonight. My T bone was cooked to perfection.
We went to the New Street Steakhouse for our end of year dinner. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive, we felt really welcome. The food was delicious and the menu extensive, especially the great choice of steaks. Our kids enjoyed themselves too, it was a really family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
