Tides Hotel Bar & Eatery

We made a spontaneous booking here after staying here about 4 years ago. Our stay there then was good but we were impressed with the refresh that it has had of the decor, branding and rooms. Room was perfect with what we needed, clean, and a lovely view of the river. As well as at a very reasonable price! Perfect walking distance to Nelson City which was what we needed.

My mother and I went here for dinner, can I just say WOW and leave it at that. No no I can't. Very Friendly and helpful staff a taste sensation for mains, I had the bacon wrapped steak with the most mouth watering delicious sauce. My mum went for traditional fish and chips. Great portion size and in her words 11 out of 10. Would definitely recommend. T0 the manager do not let your chef go!!

Very nice spot, checked in here twice on this trip. The theme/design is well done and both rooms have been great. Nice view of the river if you book a riverview room as well.

Love this Hotel! Fabulous location, awesome staff, delicious food, striking decor, quiet, beautifully clean, extra touches for example bathroom toiletries-tea/coffee facilities-filtered bottled water. Highly recommend.

Love the fact that they had a bar a restaurant and the rooms were so quirky. Very local to everything and within walking distance and the customer service was amazing.
