The Lockup Cafe Kapiti

Absolutely brilliant spot. The vibes here are super easy and welcoming. Dogs welcome on a lead. Food is delicious and the staff are all super friendly. I have no idea why anyone would give this place a bad reviews, it’s such a nice spot on a sunny day.

Gorgeous cafe great site but terrible food. The Iced chocolate was far too sweet and didn’t taste like proper chocolate - tasted more like cheap packet mix. The “cheese gem” had barely any cheese and the chocolate caramel slice tasted like sugar and nothing else.nnThe staff were super sweet though and location was gorgeous, just not good food.

Very lovely Cafe with tasty food.nWe went there during winter time. But their amazing outdoor area can definitely make customers feel very relaxing with sunshine

Quirky coffee shop hiding just behind the main street. You can order their cabinet foods if you are in hurry.nnThe menu options are limited but they cook it fresh for you and their coffee are great!

We love the lock up, a blueberry & chocolate scone is to die for, coffee is great, chips are so tasty. All the deserts are yummy and coffe is lush. We love the atmosphere and the staff are helpful & welcoming.
