The food here is incredible. We have been here twice now, and both times we have left amazed by the quality of the food. Definitely up there as one of the best cafe's we have been to in New Zealand. Everything we have eaten has been delicious, great quality ingredients cooked well. They seem to change some of the items on the menu, which is nice to see the menu kept fresh. To get the best experience, I would recommend ordering something different and not just the classic full cooked breakfast. All serving staff were very attentive and friendly. It is very busy here and there is often a queue, particularly on weekends. It moves fairly quickly, though, so just be patient, and you won't be disappointed
Exceptional.nnThis cafe is great, it serves high quality food and drink, the staff are very welcoming and the place has a great vibe.nnBeen here a couple of times now, we’ve had a couple of meals and coffee, a couple of scones and a coffee and even taken some coffees to go too.nnThe food is fantastic, averagely priced but well worth it. You get healthy portions and the food tastes incredible, was very impressed.nnThe cheese scones are very nice too and quite large!nnThe coffee is always top too!nnJust to note, the cafe gets very busy, the staff are very efficient at seating people but at times there may be a little wait…BUT it’s well worth it!
A very good brunch place with great coffee, delicious cakes, and a tasty breakfast menu! My flat white was made perfectly, and the Whittaker's chocolate cake was decadent but balanced. The fish butty was made fresh with lightly battered fish. The Eggs Benedict with grilled salmon was very nice, let down only by a slightly soggy hash brown bottom. If the hash brown had been crispy, this would be a 5-star cafe. Worth another visit, nevertheless!
Fantastic breakfast!! Perfectly cooked eggs and very flavourful plates. The cafe crams a lot of tables in to accommodate as many customers as possible which is good and bad- you will likely snag a seat but you might be sitting in someone else’s personal space. Service was quick and the coffee is good with overall reasonable prices.
Great spot for breakfast! The food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from, whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory. The vibe is really nice—cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed morning. Just a heads-up: it can get pretty busy, so be prepared to wait a bit for a seat. Totally worth it though!
