Have been wanting to come here for a while but it's always busy, which is a good sign.nnOrdered the lemon meringue pancakes with and without bacon, scrambled eggs on toast and the Whittaker's chocolate milkshake and the salted caramel milkshake.nnWe had a short wait for a table, our very kind server moved people around to accommodate our party of five earlier than expected. Which was absolutely lovely of hernnThe food was amazing and so were the drinks. And absolutely lovely service and friendly staff.nThe cabinet food all looked amazingnnCan't wait to go back and try the fried chicken burger
The food here is incredible. We have been here twice now, and both times we have left amazed by the quality of the food. Definitely up there as one of the best cafe's we have been to in New Zealand. Everything we have eaten has been delicious, great quality ingredients cooked well. They seem to change some of the items on the menu, which is nice to see the menu kept fresh. To get the best experience, I would recommend ordering something different and not just the classic full cooked breakfast. All serving staff were very attentive and friendly. It is very busy here and there is often a queue, particularly on weekends. It moves fairly quickly, though, so just be patient, and you won't be disappointed
There was a bit of a wait, but was well worth it. Had good communication regarding wait times by the staff there.nnThe cheeseburger I ordered tasted amazing, just a slight issue with the bottom bun being rather soggy soaked in oil.nnThe dishes ordered by the others in my party were delicious as well.
Our cold and wet Wellington trip was immediately uplifted by this warm and friendly cafe. The Mocha was amazing, not too sweet and just the perfect creamy consistency. Many use Supreme beans, but few do it this good! We ordered the chilli scrambled eggs, with just the perfect spice followed by a sweet finish of relish. The number of reviews this cafe has does not lie. We definitely will be back!
Fantastic breakfast!! Perfectly cooked eggs and very flavourful plates. The cafe crams a lot of tables in to accommodate as many customers as possible which is good and bad- you will likely snag a seat but you might be sitting in someone else’s personal space. Service was quick and the coffee is good with overall reasonable prices.
