La Cloche Kaiwharawhara | Wellington French Café & Catering

We dropped in for a quick takeaway and as usual it was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. As we waited for our takeaways, a lovely staff handed us a glass of water which is an awesome gesture. We have dined in several times and we never had any negative feedback to provide. Lots on the menu to choose as well as your usual pastries and sweet desserts. Our favourite is the seafood casserole! Very rich and if given the chance, I would lick the bowl! Parking can be tricky as there are only a few on the street and several others by the side. Best to book if you do visit on the weekend or just wait as the turnover is pretty quick.

Love the French vibe and delicious food, including escargot ;-D The dishes were beautifully presented, honest and delicious! Have yet to try the desserts but they caused serious drools!

My husband and I called into La Cloche for lunch in 5th January and enjoyed our meals immensely. I ordered the most delicious shell fish casserole and my husband ordered the chicken burger. The cafe was extremely busy, the staff were friendly and helpful. We recommend this cafe to everyone for their beautiful meals and yummy pastries.

Really great bakery! Delicious treats! Brilliant coffee. Friendly fast service. Great vibe. Really enjoyed that even though they were super busy, everyone was really kind and smiling and looked like they enjoyed working there. Always a plus for me.

Great for breakfast with good coffee. I really love its interior. Less crowded than the one in city. It feels so good to spend some times enjoying a cup of coffee with some danish while reading my favourite book.
