Common Ground Cafe

Dropped in here while visiting Welli. A nice open airy Café beside the library. It's great but I think I do prefer smaller more intimate cafés, but that's just me.nnI ordered the big breakfast. It was tasty and had a nice mix of food. Who doesn't like a cheese kransky right!nnIt filled me up but didn't leave me stuffed, so I needed to be wheeled out.nnCoffee was all kinds of awesome, a rich tasty blend. Perfect for your morning coffee.

One of my favourite cafes in all of Wellington! The service is consistently phenomenal and the cabinet food selection is out of this world. Alongside the extensive brunch menu, there is something for everyone at Common Ground, whether you're wanting a meal or snack, sweet or savoury, as well as children and those with dietary restrictions.nnIt can be busy at times, but you'll never be waiting for a table, nor will there be a wait for the food. Their team is very efficient and will ensure you have a calming dining experience.nnHighly rate their muffins, cheese scone and bang bang chicken salad.nnKeep up the awesome work guys! :

I usually pass on suggestions to explore cafes in Johnsonville, but this time I decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, I discovered a real gem: Common Ground Cafe. Right from the moment I walked in, I felt the welcoming vibe. The place is warm and charming, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing brunch or coffee break.nThe food display at the counter instantly caught my eye. I usually avoid counter food, but I decided to give it a try, and all I can say is WOW. I had the chicken salad from the counter, and it was unbelievably good—fresh, vibrant flavors, perfectly balanced, simply delicious! Plus, it was super affordable. I paid around NZD 21 for a large salad bowl and a large chai latte. Seriously, this place is worth checking out.nThe staff at Common Ground Cafe are exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. Despite being busy, my order arrived quicker than expected. I went on a Sunday around noon, and the place was buzzing. People say it's a popular spot, but the spacious layout ensures there’s always room for more.nAnother great thing about this cafe is its awesome location. It's right next to the library, with a pool outside too. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, with happy faces all around.nI highly recommend giving it a try. The delicious food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere make it a standout in Johnsonville. I'll be going back for sure, and soon!

Common ground is one of my favourite cafes in Wellington! Kids friendly! Consistently good coffee, wide range of yummy cabinet and kitchen food. The staffs are friendly and helpful. No matter how busy, I have never had to wait too long for my order. 10/10!

Lovely little Cafe, tucked away near the local Library. Very friendly staff. I didn't try any food but did have a lovely hot chocolate.
