We were welcomed in by the owner, an awesome lady from Sicily Italy, she complimented us and made you feel welcome. Service and food just sooo good. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.
We had a great breakfast and great hot chocolates. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Great location and easy wheel chairs access.
Sat outside in the sun and were told to go in and order when we were ready, we got our drinks after five minutes. We sat for forty five minutes before asking how far our meals were as we had seen people just sit down and still receive their food before us.nThe girl who took our orders came out and proceeded to ask us what we ordered because she had lost our ticket and the table next to ours as well. Didn’t apologise and just showed that staff had a lack of awareness. After another fifteen minutes we finally got our food, the burger tasted like it had been reheated as the outside was solid and the cheese was doughy. Staff didn’t say anything to us as we left and avoided us.nDisappointed as it was our first time going and the place had such good reviews.
Original review 2022nCoffee and full breakfast.nBoth delicious.nReally friendly staff, had a nice chat.nBacon crispy, which is the way I like it.nUpdated review 2024nnLocated right across the road from the sea, this charming cafe is a hidden gem for anyone looking to indulge in some comfort food while enjoying stunning ocean views. The French toast here is simply divine—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. Paired with a generous drizzle of syrup and fresh seasonal fruits, it’s the perfect morning treat.nnTheir coffee is equally impressive, brewed to perfection with rich, bold flavors that complement the food wonderfully. Whether you're sipping a cappuccino or enjoying a smooth espresso, the drinks are served piping hot, enhancing the overall experience.nnThe ambiance is warm and inviting, with sea breezes flowing through the open windows, making it a delightful spot to relax, read, or watch the waves roll in. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring you’re well taken care of without being intrusive. If you're a fan of great food, fantastic coffee, and a serene coastal atmosphere, this cafe should be on your must-visit list!
Love this place. Been there twice so far this trip. The owner, Daniela, and staff are super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Beautiful setting across the street with amazing views of Evan’s Bay. My family and I are all vegetarian and there were plenty of items on menu that were veggie and delicious. The COFFEE was so amazing. Great coffee drink! My fav was an iced oat milk latte, which doesn’t seem easy to get in Wellington. My kids got oat milk lattes with caramel. My wife got a hot mochaccino with coconut milk and she loved it. The cafe is filled with locals, and as a person visiting, appreciated being in a place where locals want to come and hangout. I would HIGHLY recommend visiting for the ambiance and coffee and food!
