3.5 . An overall good experience. The burgers were super flavourful- we especially loved the buns- and it’s clear they use good quality ingredients. The price was reasonable; but we still expected larger burgers. I was super excited for the crinkle-cut fries but unfortunately they came out cold and they didn’t taste fresh. The staff were lovely and the restaurant had a nice vibe- it was just a little cold
It's really good.nNo frills just great ingredients and it shows in it's simplicity.nHalal meats are used here but you should notify them to use separate utensils for a halal prep.nGot a double real burger and a chicken thigh not hot prepared by Marco who was excellent and you can tell by the way he's preparing things in the kitchen.nnIt struck me as odd that a place like this isn't getting the hype some others are getting around town yet it is just as good if not better.
The definition of disappointment. The burgers look fantastic but they lack flavour. The burgers had zero flavour - little seasoning and so dry. Since going, I’ve heard the chicken burger is the thing to get here bad sadly didn’t try it.nAn absolute lack of sauce, luckily we got an extra sauce which we covered the patty in. Fries were waaaaay over cooked. I love crispy fries but these ones seemed like they had been scorched by lava.nAvoid this place if looking for smash patty - go to Burger Geek instead.
Worth a try and repeat business in Highbury & Birkenhead area. This food joint is *Real Burger* as the name suggests. One Tap beer and few Can beers, Good selection of Burgers. Very big size and filling. Good service by friendly staff.
I had a high expectation coming to this place since my friend highly recommended it to me a few times. But I was rather disappointed.nnWent for lunch and the lunch deal wasn’t visibly shown on the menu so I kinda wasted my money paying for a burger a homemade drink and fries. With the lunch menu you get a better deal. There was only one person working at peak hour doing everything by himself, cooking and serving. He seemed too occupied with grilling so I ordered at the kiosk instead. I was only told about the lunch deal when he was serving the food and offered me a drink for free. I appreciated it but would have been better if I was told earlier. He was very friendly and nice I’d go back because of him.nnThe drinking glasses in the fridge needs a good wash. I saw dirty glasses around the rims, appeared like lip marks with grease so I had to pick a clean one but still was a bit grossed out so I had to wipe it before using it. And the table near the fridge should be wiped thoroughly. It was very sticky to touch. I just had an impression that hygiene was not good.nnLastly, the homemade peach ice tea I ordered was lukewarm and tasted weird like it was off. I didn’t want to waste it but it took me three sips till I decided not to drink the rest. It’d be nicer to filter out the black residue that was on the bottom of the cup and make it cooler with more ice or store it in the fridge. Today was particularly warm 25 degrees so during mid summer it should be served much cooler. Hope the one I drank wasn’t off. But if it was freshly made, perhaps you should consider changing the ingredients or the recipe.nnThe burger I ordered was called “O.G” it was good. But I think it’d taste better with a kick of something to cut the grease. The fries were crispy and not too salty but wasn’t hot.nnOverall it was alright.nnHaving a friendly staff was the best part of the experience.
