The burgers are delicious and the flavors are varied, not just the same burger with a few different items on top. The Kiwi burger is my go-to. The egg on top is cooked perfectly soft for a burger, the beetroot is a good wholesome slice, the sauces are generous, but not overloaded, and the burger itself isa good size with a great flavor... all wrapped in delicious lightly toasted potato buns.nnThe chicken burger is similarly well stacked, with a lightly caramelized grilled pineapple and a uniquely flavored chicken breast I may have tasted cumin among the spices.nnThe chips are also a bit different being skin on French fries, perfectly cooked possibly double dipped and crispy.nnOn the food side I can genuinely find nothing to recommend to improve.nnThe atmosphere is based on dine in, which is very ordinary, but clean and functional. As a takeaway, it has a good vibe with open counter overlooking the grill. Eat in only if you want it absolutely fresh off the grill, but in all other circumstances take away, even if your just going to a nearby park, because the suit down options are not part of the attraction here.nnI'm summary, 100% my new favorite burger spot with absolutely delicious food and great friendly service, but a dull environment to 'dine in'.
Absolutely the best place ever. The staff are amazing, the food is next level and you definitely need to try theor amazing food. The hard thing is trying to pick what you want as it is all sooooo delicious.nnComing from Palmerston North I can't wait to visit every month. My absolute favorite place to eat out.
Tried this burger spot recently and had a great experience. Prices are reasonable, with most burgers under $18. I also liked that it has an open kitchen, so you can see the food being prepared.nnThe cheesesteak burger was rich and cheesy with plenty of sauce. The crispy chicken burger had a nice crunch with a bit of spice and was well balanced. The rice burger was something different — pan-fried rice with tender beef, which I hadn’t really seen elsewhere.nnWe also ordered the karaage fried chicken, which was full of flavour, and the Philly on chips, which was easy to share. Overall, a solid spot for casual burgers.
One of the top notch burger and Jap food you can get in Auckland! Staffs are extremely kind and friendly and food exceeded my expectations! Just delicious!nnHighly recommended!nnPhoto doesn’t do justice how amazing they taste. I have tried almost everything from the menu and 5 star for everything!
If you want a gourmet burger, look no further, you have found the place.nnYou are spoilt for choice at Hambagu.nnThese bad boy burgers are so delicious. I had the Double Stacker, oh my gosh this thing was huge.nnService, presentation, taste, atmosphere all 5 stars from me.nnGo try it for yourself
