Orakei Domain

Very nice views on the Central Business District of Auckland with Tamaki Drive in the foreground, and Hauraki Golf on the other side. Someone needs to cut the bush at the side platform though. Access to Mission Bay by paved pathway.

Beautiful place with wide open grass and many playgrounds for kids!! Definitely recommend this place for going out with kids.

Peacefull on the day, Good playground with rubber matting, a little more suited for over 5 yrsnold.Plenty of space for team sports with tree shade,across the road from beach & toilets ,a few gas BBQ s

A great place to visit. The view is amazing. Recently an additional BBQ stand and a Picnic table have been installed and gave this area another feature.

Came here to the celebration of the Waitangi Day and have some chill time around there. It was too sunny but we have a good time, the we’re selling some food and drinks and specially they have a concert going on. Some historic images to learn about the Waitangi Day. So if you are in Auckland, you should probably check if they have any event going on around here.
