Missed seeing lots of the roses in bloom as still a little early. Lots of aphids on the buds so they may be a little scratchy. Very difficult to keep them at bay I'm sure. Lovely flowers and special area with a fountain. Good views. I enjoyed it

Attended the Parnell Rose Festival 2024 and it was a lovely event! People need to adhere to the signs to not stand in the rose garden beds. Strange to see foxglove growing, it's dangerous for pets. The roses in bloom were absolutely gorgeous!

Amazing gardens surrounded to the east by the highest pohutukawa trees, and views across to Devonport and Rangtoto Island, to the north by views of the Waitemata Harbour and downtown Auckland, and to the west, a view of the iconic sky tower.nOur guests had an awesome time playing on the boughs of the huge pohutukawa trees.nWe also saw the Korean memorial, and the beautifully laid out rose gardens, which were actually in bud, but not in bloom October, but will be over the next few weeks.nThis place is wheelchair friendly, and there is no entry charge. It 8s located 10 minutes from Auckland City or about 20 minutes walk from Downtown.

It is a beautiful place, especially in the spring. I advise everyone to go there to enjoy the wonderful different rose scents.
