Dove Myer Robinson Park (Parnell Rose Garden)

Missed seeing lots of the roses in bloom as still a little early. Lots of aphids on the buds so they may be a little scratchy. Very difficult to keep them at bay I'm sure. Lovely flowers and special area with a fountain. Good views. I enjoyed it

Amazing gardens surrounded to the east by the highest pohutukawa trees, and views across to Devonport and Rangtoto Island, to the north by views of the Waitemata Harbour and downtown Auckland, and to the west, a view of the iconic sky tower.nOur guests had an awesome time playing on the boughs of the huge pohutukawa trees.nWe also saw the Korean memorial, and the beautifully laid out rose gardens, which were actually in bud, but not in bloom October, but will be over the next few weeks.nThis place is wheelchair friendly, and there is no entry charge. It 8s located 10 minutes from Auckland City or about 20 minutes walk from Downtown.

Another great park in Auckland. Close to Judges Bay beach and Parnell Baths, is another park that we shouldn't miss. It has the Rose Garden inside, with some flower in the Nance's garden section that dates from 1870s. There are a couple of trails through the bushes and a massive Pohutukawa tree with long branchs by the ground were kids can enjoy playing. Plenty of green areas to run with your pet too. Great view to the Auckland Port and CBD.

A very beautifully maintained rose garden where you can relax in the city. A friend brought me here. When you arrive at the garden, the scent of roses fills the air and you are greeted by an English-style rose garden. After taking my time to calm down and explore, I felt very enriched.nAvoid entering flower beds. Some people received strict warnings from the administrators.

Small but mighty. Well maintained with moderate amount of visitors. Some roses are withering maybe the weather is too hot. Also saw a news lady recording some news using it as a background. Peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommended
