Domain Wintergardens

Its a beautiful place to visit with your friends and family if you like to see variety of plants and flowers. Its a cool spot for doing some photography, the place has a fountain and greek sculptures a cafe outside and sitting area.nOne will find the parking easily.nToilets are just outside near the fountain & parkingnThis place is completely free to visit.nWell maintained place by government

The Wintergarden in Auckland’s domain has two glass houses restored recently and one with plants from temperate and one tropical climate. There are frogs and tadpoles, at the moment, in the warm water pool with the water lilies.nVery picturesque and a touch of England’s Victorian grandeur on the other side of the world. It doesn’t take too long to see it all but slow down a notch and it’s worth visiting if you’re in the domain already. Don’t forget to go through the gate aptly titled the Fernery!

One side/building is temperate and the other is tropical. Bother are lovely to look at. Didn't take us long to look through. About 10 minutes per side max. Pretty pictures though and the blooming wisteria smelled lovely.

So pretty and tranquil! The weather was pretty miserable and the stroll through the gardens made us all feel lighter and happier. Gorgeous flowers!

I could see many kind of flowers that I have never seen before.nnAnd the timig that I visited was very very good.nI took many photos of flowers.
