Maungawhau / Mount Eden

Excellent place to recharge your mind and body. My son took me over there at night. The view was breathtaking. Daytime walk n views are also great but night time is a different experience.nIt’s pretty uphill so be prepared to get huffed and puffed. There are well maintained walking tracks. At the summit there are viewing platforms.nPlenty of parking available but hard to find on a weekend morning.

Parking was short on availability, The bridges move slightly, its also extra cold and windy at the top. Its a Beautiful and clean place. Has the most beautiful view of Auckland. Highly recommended. Probably not suitable for prams or very young kids.

Walking up on a flat ground can be quite challenging for some people. However, best view comes after the hardest climb! With the panoramic 360 degree view, indeed breathtaking.nnThere are a few parking areas. Toilets near the cafe.

Nice place to relax, not a big steep to hike. Many tracka to enjoy a nice walk. View of the Auckland city from top is stunning. Must visit place for aucklanders. No tickets. Few 120 car parks available.

Breathtaking views of the city scape from a dormant crater and well worth visiting if you’re in the area. There is parking at the bottom and it’s a 10 minute walk to the summit.
