Enjoy the tranquility of this little cosy nature park. Dogs friendly. Well-maintained playground, easy parking and toilet just next to it.
One of the best parks I've been too in a very long time...I even liked the toilets...well they 100 % on any others we have come across of late.
Newmarket park holds many secrets. If you are ever parked in the warehouse carpark and need an hour to kill, I recommend walking down cowie street then into Newmarket park, then out the secret exit which takes you - eventually- to remuera road. Then following the traffic back to warehouse carpark. Who knew there was so much adventure to be found in Newmarket!
Nice little park with a lake, play area for kids, public toilets.
Its simple, but my kids love it, I actually enjoy climbing to the top and enjoy the views myself, the breeze is nice and not too cold either, excellent walking area and heaps of grass for your dog, cat or whatever anymore you got these days.
