Madills Farm Recreation Reserve

The park is quite large and looks to have many facilities within it. I was only in the area closest to the beach since we came here to eat out takeaways. There are benches along the edges of the field and a few trees around. The entrance on Melanesia Road is one way and goes into a carpark which leads out another road.nThere looks like there is a path which goes all the way around the park and there were lots of people walking their dogs here.

Very big park to play sports. Can have family picnic or walk a dogs. Heaps trees so that's mean heaps shades under

This is a really great place to meet with local friends for a walk with your dogs and then flop down with a blanket and a couple of beers and relax afterwards. Or you could play soccer or take your kids for a play at the great jungle gym area, etc. Great local restaurants and takeaways are near by, and of course Kohimarama Beach is a 5-min walk away.

The playground suits many ages. Structures are well maintained and sturdy. Great fencing with child proof gates.

This had been recommended by a friend as a must visit, on the day of our visit during school hours it wasn't busy and there was plenty to do.This is a fully fenced playground meaning parents can relax a little.nMadills Farm playground has a giant climbing net ideal for older children slides, swings, basket swing, sea saw and small bike track. Families can also use the path around the path to scoot or bike around.nThere is plenty of shade to sit under and relax -even have a picnic.
