The Mission Bay Fountain

Beautiful water Fountain. Love the colour of the water. Looks so clean. The water fountain is in the middle of the park. No Swimming Allowed. The called TREVOR MOSS DAVIS MEMORIAL FOUNTAIN• Its very nice place to relax. Tourist attractions area. Nice place to take photos.

Where cobbled stones a circle weave,nAnd ancient brick a pattern leave,nA gentle murmur, soft and low,nThe Trevor Moss Fountain's flow.nNo leaping jets in grand display,nBut trickling streams that softly play,nA quiet dance of water bright,nReflecting sun in dappled light.nThe weathered stone, a mossy hue,nHolds stories old, and secrets true,nOf whispered words and passing days,nOf sunlit smiles and misty haze.nA robin dips, a moment's grace,nA silver droplet finds its place,nAmongst the ferns, a verdant spread,nWhere weary souls find comfort bred.nThe gentle splash, a soothing sound,nAs urban clamor fades around,nA moment's peace, a tranquil scene,nThe Trevor Moss, forever green.

Large fountain in the middle of the grassy area in Mission Bay. You can see children playing in here. The fountain is not always operational. It does have lights at night.

Looks clean very busy and Beautiful . It says NO SWIMMING allowed but kids still swim and jump there. Even parents not saying anything to the kids. Very bad.nnBuilt in 1947, designed by architect George Tole and created by sculptor Richard Gross, the fountain is in fact a memorial to Trevor Moss Davis, nephew of late Auckland Mayor Sir Ernest Davis.

Beautiful spot right near the beach. There is a playground near by for the kids to play. We come here to take the kids to the park after Kelly Tarltons and it was close. There's a fish and chips shop just across the road where we brought lunch from. There are also Lime scooters parked around this area where you can purchase minutes to ride around and take in the scenery. Lovely place.
