Oderings Garden Centre Christchurch - Philpotts

I went in looking for air plants but not knowing if they had any. I had just walked in the door when the lovely man behind the counter called out a friendly greeting with a smile. As I walked on he asked if he could be of any help so I asked about the plants and he took me to see them. I got 3 and he asked if I had looked after air plants before and I said yes. He then said they give them a light mist every 2 weeks. When paying he asked if I had an Oderings card and looked up my number to see.. then signed me up. Lovely customer service and I will definitely be back

On Monday my wife and I went to Oderings Philpotts Road, and were greeted and helped by Marshall. I cannot speak highly enough of the attention and service he gave us. He listened, he suggested, he engaged with us...we left feeling very happy and satisfied with our shopping/gardening experience. Thank you!

My friend and I called into Oderings, Philpotts Road today and right from the start we were greeted with a friendly smile and hello. And that continued with the lovely women outside. They were very kind and helpful and we had the best shopping experience because of that. Everything there was so well laid out which made things easy to find. And when I had made my purchase the kind woman on the till helped me to carry my plants out to the car. I will certainly be returning to get the plants for my Summer garden. Thank you Oderings.

Disappointed, Chose a plant I wanted that was advertised & said they had stock, drove all the way,looked through the shop, couldn't find asked 2 people for help, 1 just disappeared so asked the second staff member, looked for another 10 mins ... ... no stock at all .. my patience was certainly tested, obviously change of ownership ??? Ordering was usually my go to, not now, what a shame.

There's a great range of plants and all that you need for gardening in the store. Many of the shelves outside for the plants could do with an upgrade, if that matters.
