Kenneally Timber Products Ltd

I picked up a 1x4 piece of rimu for a personal project from Kenneally the other day, after checking out a few salvage yards and having no luck elsewhere. I mentioned it was my first time buying timber and that I had no idea about the process; whether buying in bulk or just a single piece. The woman who helped me was incredibly friendly and pointed me in the right direction. I ended up with a 2m piece to get started on my project. Even though I'm based on the other side of town, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again.

So initially these guys were hella quick to respond to my e-mail request for timber despite me being a massive noob. They were very patient and clear with their communication. The timber was amazing, we got macro which was just beautiful for our deck. Picture here unfinished. There was a little bit of spoilage, and I was 1x4.5m length short of the total deck facings bit. I e-mailed again to explain and they Declan? quickly agreed to replace the broken cracked bits with a full length so I could finish the deck. I accidentally turned up just as they were closing but old mate was a good guy about it and still got me my timber. Massive thanks to Declan and his crew. Everyone should get their timber here... also macro is beautiful with the natural oil stain.

Kenneally has great customer service. You can tell they have a lot pride in the service culture there and it only adds to their excellent timber products and cutting services.
