Melbourne Lodge

The value for money for the location couldn't be better. It was about a 5 min walk into town. The bus stop to/from the airport was like a minutes walk away. The room was nicely presented. Had everything you'd need in a short stay. Appreciated the electric blanket! Easy check in and check out. There was a guest lounge with quite a bit of cooking equipment and ample fridges. Good wifi. TV has cable. The security wasn't super high, but Queenstown felt like a really safe place. I'd recommend staying here.

My brother and I had a great stay here in between hikes in Queenstown. The manager was lovely and very accommodating with me leaving some luggage behind. The building is a little old, but our room was comfortable, had beautiful views of the lake, and was very competitively priced for the location.

I had a late check-in but everything was super smooth, the manager was so warm and helpful.nnThe room was very comfortable and actually also quiet. Would definitely stay again.

This was the first hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a value accommodation - so expectations should be par with that. I really enjoyed my stay - room was super clean with an updated shower and a really nice view from my balcony! It’s right in the center of town, so close to everything! Vydhav at the desk was super nice with recommendations, a big smile and adapters for charging! I recommend and will be back! I absolutely love Queenstown!
