Melbourne Lodge

It is in a good location in Queenstown. You can reach the center within 5 minutes walking distance. Everything in the room was nice. The furniture was a bit old but clean and tidy. The view from the room was a little bit of a lake view, it was great. Some rooms have balconies. Breakfast is served between 7-9 am. There is a car park for 7-8 cars

Location was absolutely perfect, just a few minutes walk to the city center. Room had a beautiful view of the mountains and the gondola. Shared bathroom was clean and modern. Common room was perfect with TV and basic cooking facilities. Parking on site and staff were super friendly.Would stay here again

A really good budget accommodation in Queenstown. Great rooms, very clean, good amenities room to prepare food. The staff are very polite and courteous. The only drawback at the moment is the roadworks making access a little tricky, but it does have great views over Queenstown. Walking around the streets can be tricky if you have difficulty walking

I got the solo room and was pleasantly surprised it has a handwashing sink. The shared toilets/showers were clean and functional. I could stay there again.nnThe walk to the town is quick and easy but the way back to the lodge is an uphill. It’d be a challenge for physically abled and elders. The steps towards the main entrance are not very accessible when you have a heavy luggage like i did but I carried on. nnCurrently there’s an ongoing road construction along Melbourne Street. IfnnI didn’t get to see the lounge or explore the facilities if any because I only stayed for 1 night.

The value for money for the location couldn't be better. It was about a 5 min walk into town. The bus stop to/from the airport was like a minutes walk away. The room was nicely presented. Had everything you'd need in a short stay. Appreciated the electric blanket! Easy check in and check out. There was a guest lounge with quite a bit of cooking equipment and ample fridges. Good wifi. TV has cable. The security wasn't super high, but Queenstown felt like a really safe place. I'd recommend staying here.
