Great location close to the city center. However, the powered sites are very small, and the spaces are packed tightly together. There were not many toilet and shower facilities, and unfortunately, they weren’t very clean.nnWe stayed for three nights and couldn’t freeze anything because there was only one small freezer available for many campers, and it was completely full.nnHalf of the stovetops in the kitchen didn’t work, but the kitchen area was otherwise large and well-equipped. The laundry room was excellent, with modern washing machines and dryers that could be operated by card.nnThe staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which was a big plus.

Great location and atmosphere but you need more toilets. 3 cubicles in the males for the amount of patrons is a bit sad. I understand the WiFi being non existent due to the numbers of people in town is normal this time of year.nWe will be back but this is some food for thought.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights. We stayed in room 30. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was a fantastic rainwater shower the hot water takes a while to come. We had to go to the front desk to get our towels. Great location right next to the Skyline cable cars and the stairs to get down to the main street. We enjoyed this hotel!

This is a disgrace to NZ camping.nWith RV’s one meter or less away from you on three sides. With ½ size lots they are charging $77 / night. Unbelievably. See pictures.nTouring in an RV for more than two years. Visited more than 120 campgrounds. This is the smallest sites I have seen.

Hampshire Holiday Parks - Queenstown Lakeview, boasts an amazing setting looking down across Lake Wakatipu and is ideally situated in the heart of Queenstown.nnThe holiday park has slowly been degenerating over the many decades as huge sections of the camping ground were sold off for commercial buildings, leaving less than half the grounds; camping sites are now so tight and suffocating, there is little room with often no sites available over summer.nnIt is a sad reflection of the stunning holiday park it once was years ago, now quite rundown with disappointing maintenance under various new managements.
