Azur Luxury Lodge

We stayed at Azur for a few nights while visiting Queenstown on our honeymoon and would absolutely recommend it! The rooms were spacious and luxurious and the views of Lake Wakatipu were unreal! The staff was also super friendly and helpful and will drive you into/pick you up from Queenstown with just a phone call. Although they don't do dinner on site, the breakfast and pre-dinner canapés that they offer were fabulous.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Azur lodge and our experience was absolutely wonderful! We got married in Queenstown and we were so glad we stayed at Azur. When we checked in, Jamie greeted us and offered us a beverage, she was extremely helpful for anything we could have needed. The views from our room were absolutely stunning-mountain and lake view. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and canapés delivered to the room and the tub with windows and a view was a great bonus. Esther and Maite were so lovely and were often the ones who picked us up in the golf cart or brought our breakfast in the room. Also highly recommend the cheese board! Our room had a fireplace and couch which was super cozy! I would highly recommend Azur lodge-service was excellent and the views were fantastic, our stay was very relaxing during our wedding week. Azur has all of the luxury, elegance, and service of the finest hotels in Europe with none of the pretense. The staff are charming and friendly but casual in a very good way. There’s nothing stuffy about this place but that doesn’t detract from the incredible villas and views, well appointed, comfortable, spacious… we took advantage of in-room dining & breakfast, and it was a real treat. Close enough to everything in Queenstown but far enough away to have solitude and tranquility. My only regret was not booking a longer stay. Paradise. Truly.

This place is UNREAL. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had and they deliver it to your room every morning. The service is impeccable and I will definitely be coming back!
