Here's a review based on your experience:nn---nn**Driftaway Queenstown Review**nnI recently had the pleasure of staying at Driftaway Queenstown, and it was an exceptional experience. The place was incredibly cozy and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home.nnOne of the best aspects of Driftaway Queenstown is its convenient location. It is close to the bus route, which made getting around the area a breeze. The easy access to the city allowed us to explore Queenstown without any hassle.nnOverall, Driftaway Queenstown exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located place to stay in Queenstown.
The holiday park is very modern and clean, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. I was looking for a budget option, so I chose a room without a sink, shower, or toilet, which initially caused a bit of anxiety since I was traveling with my 8 and 10-year-old daughters in winter July. However, everything turned out perfectly.nnThe room would include a full size fridge with couple of bottles of drinking water, a toaster and electric kettle for the start.nAll the communal facilities are located in a large, bright, and warm building. It was a pleasure to take a short walk to this building, enjoying the beautiful nature around us and breathing in the crisp, clear air. The kitchen is spacious, warm, and cozy; people would gather there with their laptops, spending evenings sipping tea and chatting about small things.nnI also arranged for a hot tub each evening to enjoy with the girls before bed, which was a lovely way to end the day. The girls had a great time in the game room, playing with Lego and Pac-Man. And of course, the resident boss-cat, Buddy, who checked in on guests in their cabins, added a charming touch to the place.nnI would definitely recommend this holiday park!
10/10 location, pricing, service. Views 100/10, can’t imagine there’s another camping ground with a view like this in NZ! My sister and I stayed for three nights. It was just stunning. The cabins are so warm, had everything you need and all modern and clean.nCouple of things we thought could do with upgrading is the towels, they were tiny and really worn and some face clothes added. Yes it’s not a Hotel but when everything else is perfect people start noticing the little things. We also noticed were the two end toilets and showers being blocked off in the female bathrooms, not sure why that was? We were also unsure if these are the only bathrooms on the property if so I’m not sure how they would handle 100+ people using them in peak season.. they only just handled the amount of people coming through that were there in June. There may be other bathrooms around that we couldn’t see on the map though.nWould absolutely recommend this place though and will 100% be back! :
This was the perfect location to test out our first night in an RV. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Prices were very reasonable and the view was breathtaking! Plenty of showers available and the water got hot! Lots of nice support facilities like laundry and dump site. Lake was right there! 10/10 would recommend this spot as a first night for anyone!
The best facilities! As far as a holiday park goes this place is 5 stars. They have thought of everything and a perfect place for families and couples alike. We stayed in one for the cabins with our 1 year old. There was a little climbing set that kept him occupied in the games room, playground, and even a super cute kids bath in the shape of a car. Room was super clean and comfortable, with amazing views right on the lake. 10/10
