Driftaway Queenstown

Interestingly, this was the last camper site for our New Zealand trip and we booked it pretty last minute because we would like flexibility on our last day. It is a blessed decision. We were totally amazed by the cleanliness, facilities and view of this camper site. It is the best out of our 6 powered and paid camper sites. Cleanliness is top notch, and not to forget about the play room and the bouncing hill that my kids loving them so much. Personally, I enjoyed the view and easy access to lake front. We definitely will patron it when we are visiting Queenstown again!

We had an awesome time here at Driftaway Queenstown. We stayed one night with our camper van and than moved into one of their lovely huts. The staff was absolutely amazing, super friendly and always helping with everything. We were even able to get into the room a bit earlier without even asking for it, very much appreciated.nAll facilities were in very good condition and always very clean. Also the view from the kitchen, dining area, and BBQ is stunning. Directly overlooking the lake.nEven the huts have this amazing view that makes you want to stay in bed all day. Room was also very, we had all utensils in the kitchen and the bed was super comfortable.nWe enjoyed our stay very much especially because everything was made easy.

We got a spot with our camper van with a beautiful view of the lake no seagulls, they are all at the lake. There are a lot of showers and toilets available, very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was spacious and offered lots of stove tops, though we didn't use it.nnWe also reserved a hot tub for 1h. The tub is in a private room and had the lake view as well. However, it was not very hot and the option to turn on the pulsating jets were locked. It was relaxing nevertheless! They offer towels and drinking water in there, that was very nice. Be aware that there is no shower inside. Make sure to shower in the facility hub beforehand.

Great Location and Excellent Facilities!nnI recently stayed at this location and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely fantastic, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that made the stay very relaxing. The washrooms and kitchen facilities were spotless, and it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority here. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic spot to park their campervan.

My one line review would be - this is the future of holiday parks. Modern amenities, gorgeous views, plenty of shower and toilet cubicles, and very clean. The shower cubicles seemed to be a blend of a high end sports facility shower area fused with a hotel! And the eating area was so nice it could have been a cafe! And the best part was that this was all for a reasonable price - I've stayed at other holiday parks paying a similar price but for fewer amenities. Would recommend this place for anyone seeking a powered site like we were!
