I had an unexpected visit to the Lakes District Hospital after a fall on the golf course super unlucky!, and I can’t thank the medical team enough for their outstanding care. From the moment I hobbled in from my taxi, the triage nurse, Dr. John, and Ella were patient, kind, and completely professional. Even with plenty going on around them—including patients speaking multiple languages—they smiled and laughed as they went about their important work. I appreciate their skill and support during a tough moment, and hope their bosses do to. Great kiwi medical service from an Aussie. Thank you!
I have spent a lot of my life in hospital post car accident. And honestly this was one of my best experiences due to the amazing nurses. I have been here for a few days and looks like I'll be in here a few more. I get super anxious in these places however even my anxiety has been down. Thank you team for creating a safe and friendly environment I'm.so thankful to have met you all
I am Malaysia and my husband was on emergency care under Dr. David on last Jan2025. We would like to thanks to the doctor and team and also to Sue and partner Red Cross who attended him that night. We safely arrived in Malaysia and continued our medical treatment here.
If I could give more stars I would. I suffered from Kidney failure when I was younger and it has been three years post op. I came in as I was sick and couldn’t keep down my pills or waterthe two necessities for keeping your transplant alive. Instantly I was taken in, given a bed and the doc begun diagnosing me, they also offered my mum a tea or coffee. Awesome experience thanks especially to Docter Adam Sawyer who was thorough and efficient.
We are visiting the NZ and found the ED to be very efficient in triage and organising necessary tests. There is always waiting involved however they were very friendly and were able to diagnose the problem and recommend a course of action.
