We booked Creeksyde for 1 night, we then extended and ended up staying a total of 7 we loved it so much! Lovely helpful staff, great location about 6mins from town and close to everything you could possibly need. Paragliders sailing above you and landing in the field a few metres away. The site is exceptionally clean in all areas, the staff take great carenOf the site and always busying around cleaning it. Great facilities with multiple laundry sites, great kitchens one with oven and TV’s with fireplaces. Lovely hot showers, plenty of space around your spot and just all round amazing. They are very eco conscious and have cute additions like paper bags of food scraps to feed their worms Amazing recycling systems in place and a water fountain well providing amazing filtered mountain water for free! We just couldn’t leave so kept extending! We will 100% be back and 100% recommend to anyone looking at staying here. Defo one of our favourites in South Island! If you’re thinking about it, BOOK it!
Loved how quirky this holiday park was, and I would’ve loved to spend a bit more time chilling out here if there weren’t already a ton of stuff NZ has to offer. We got a powered site. I appreciated that there was a timed heater in the bathroom and a hairdryer, and the showers were really instantly hot but what was disappointing was the limited internet : 1GB was way too little and it logged me out in the morning.
Great spot in Queenstown. Conveniently location. HOT showers, very nice kitchens and lounges. The young lady from Scotland who checked my wife and me in was truly awesome - wish all those who you encountered were as terrific as she.
Tldr- Fun camping vibes but bring your own soapnnExperiencen- fun experience - quirky decor, every cabin is unique i think. Nice to sit out and enjoy the nature. Also to spy on neighbours as you are quite close to everyonennServicen- check in was pleasant and friendly.nWe did meet someone a bit grumpier when we asked for extra tea after our 3rd night but she still gave it to us. My check out there was noone at the desk despite it being office hours but I dropped the key in drop box and seemed alright.n- there was a plumbing issue in the room and they came within minutes to fix and fixed it quick which was good.nnFacilitiesn- studio was clean and spacious. Had tea/coffee, some basic things like cutlery microwave kitchen sink. Comfy bed, heating, and fan provided too.n- the body soap and dish soap is the same and is very drying and would not recommend for your shower but works as a detergent but is quite watery. Just bring your own toiletries and save you the troublennLocationn- perfect for driving as you get free parking for Queenstown which is 10 mins walk down. Buses also 10 mins walk gor people without carn- plenty of supermarkets nearby.
Great location, with a short walk to town. Supermarket and petrol station pretty much next door. Only a short trip but look foward to returning. Only thing we couldn’t pick up satellite but no big deal for us being one night.
