Crystal Waters

Our stay at Crystal Waters was exceptional. The suite had breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables. The spa was a real highlight, and relaxing in the warm water while enjoying the scenery was simply amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with excellent mattresses that made for a very restful sleep. It was a luxurious and memorable experience…will be backnKa mau te wehi, absolutely stunning!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The views were surreal and honestly even better than we expected. The property is so beautifully designed—cozy, modern, and super comfortable. Everything was fully equipped, from kitchen utensils to kids’ utensils and even a kids’ bed. I can really feel the thought, effort, and love the host put into this place. The whole experience went far beyond our expectations. My family adored every moment, and we had such a wonderful time together. We highly recommend staying here!

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the unparalleled views of Queenstown and Lake Whakatipu—a panorama that changes hourly and is simply breathtaking. We loved the location. It's perfectly situated to be quiet and away from the busy town centre, yet still conveniently close to some fantastic local gems. During our stay, we were also fascinated to learn about how Crystal Waters was constructed and its history, which added a special personal touch to the whole experience.nnThe accommodation itself was incredibly clean, and it was clearly well stocked and thought out, especially for families with young children. The amenities and service truly set this place apart. The hot tubs were a treat after long days out hiking and exploring, providing the perfect way to unwind.nnMost importantly, Allanah and Josh provided such exceptional, personalised attention that we really felt like we had our own private guides. They helped us discover the best local spots and ensured our stay was perfect. We cannot wait to return!

Amazing! Just perfection for the design. And the view is better than the pictures. And they don’t fall about it but the beds are super comfy! Like the mattresses made me sleep so well! And the bath products they use are divine. I had to purchase some to take home! And loved having cornhole too! My family loves that game!

Our only regret is that we booked too late and could stay for just one night. We genuinely wished we had more time here. The host was incredibly warm and thoughtful as well. We arrived earlier than expected, and they went out of their way to arrange the cleaning so we could check in early. It made us feel very welcomed and cared for.nnThis was without a doubt the best stay of our entire South Island trip. We would love to return and stay for several days next time.
