Lakes District Hospital Emergency Room

Huge thank you to your amazing team when we arrived with our little guy 9 and his broken leg on Wednesday morning. All the staff were so caring and got him sorted with pain relief and re setting his broken Tibia. It was a hugely traumatic experience made better by the caring attitudes of the nurses and doctors in the Emergency Department - We cant thank you enough for getting us sorted before the easter weekend. You are truly valued and appreciated by this little family.

I came in to the emergency department at about 6am this morning with a swollen throat and was screened by a really lovely nurse I forget her name but she wore plaits in her hair and she was quite tall and in her 20s I assumed. I just wanted to give her a special compliment because from the moment I arrived she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable she was really lovely and one of the best nurses I’ve ever come across. You should be very proud for having such caring staff work at this hospital

The team here at this lovely hospital, were all fast efficient and thorough. I enjoyed my experience with everyone professional and friendly. Thankyou.
