I would like to sincerely thank Sam Persian staff member at the Harvey Norman Wairau Park store for the outstanding customer service I received yesterday.nI urgently needed a bar fridge delivered for my elderly parent, and from the very beginning Sam was incredibly friendly, approachable, understanding, and genuinely helpful. He listened carefully to my situation and understood the urgency of the delivery straight away.nWhat truly stood out was his consistent follow-through and communication right up until the item was delivered. Sam showed genuine compassion, care, and professionalism throughout the entire process, which made a very stressful situation so much easier for me.nIt is rare to come across someone who is not only efficient and professional, but also truly caring and empathetic toward customers and their families.nSam is truly an asset to Harvey Norman, and I am extremely grateful for all his help and support.nnI have no hesitation in recommending Harvey Norman Wairau Park to anyone seeking professional, friendly, and genuinely caring customer service.

The service is this Store is unbelievable! I had a problem with a dryer that I purchased here and emailed the store. Within 30 minutes I had a phone call, resolving my issue and providing a replacement, and just incredible service, from the Customer Service Team, the Assistant on the floor right down to the two guys who delivered and installed the replacement. They were friendly, helpful, efficient and caring. You can't ask for more than this. I have been a long-term customer of this Store and they never fail to meet expectations. I can't recommend this Store highly enough! Thank you Harvey Norman Wairau Park!

I am sad and very unimpressed with my visit to HN Wairau today.nnI have been there a couple of times to learn about the products, understand what would be suitable for me, and of course to check and compare prices — who doesn’t?nnToday, I came in with the intention of finalising my purchase for my new home, mainly a fridge, washing machine, and dryer, along with other small appliances. I had done my research and believed HN was the best option because of its reputation and the 60-month instalment programme.nnWhen I arrived, no one acknowledged me — including a sales consultant who had helped me on a previous visit. The store was quiet, yet staff simply stared at me without even saying hello or asking if I needed help.nnEventually, a sales consultant named Sam approached me and offered assistance. He was friendly and helpful.nnSuddenly, another staff member who had helped me before interrupted and shouted to Sam, in front of me, “He’s been here a couple of times and talked with some people. We don’t have the products — it’s going to be February.” His name is Shafeel. He was also the person who refused to give me a quote during my first visit, without explaining why, which is why I was not interested in speaking with him today.nnHe did not greet me at all, despite clearly seeing me walk in. I later learned that he may be a manager, as he appeared to have authority and frequently intervened in conversations.nnI left the store feeling annoyed and upset and decided to take my business elsewhere, even if it means paying more or not having access to long-term instalments.nnI am genuinely surprised by this experience at a branch that refers to itself as a “flagship store.” Many staff were standing and walking around, yet there was no genuine intention to help. It even gave me the impression that the “flagship” title may have led to arrogance rather than approachability and customer care.nnI would appreciate it if senior management could reach out to me, as this was not a pleasant experience.

Arun who is tech team member is amazingly professional and kind. When I visited harvey norman for computer keyboard problem, his solution was so accurate. I appreciate to him about this matter. Thank you !

My wife and I would like to Thank Max Yang for all of his help and assistance when we purchased a new Super King Mattress during the Easter Sale. Max went above and beyond and out of his way to make sure we were well looked after and made the correct purchase. If you are looking for a new bed or bedroom furniture then ask for Max at the Wairau store! Absolute Legend!
