Be great to have the old Harbar, really miss the fish tacos!! Pizza was good really hot the tomato sauce was really nice might have been home made. The shoe string fries were sort of hot could taste the truffles. The only thing about the pizza was it was small only about six slices. For two cocktails it was $40 for pizza it was $20. All in all very nice!!!

An awesome bar by the water at Akaroa. Atmosphere is first class as you glance at the bay and surrounding mountains while sipping on a beer and gin. The Pizzas and Fries are very tasty too. Staff are friendly and efficient. A great place to visit either for a pre-dinner drink or a meal as well.
Insanely good!!!! Epic location with epic food to match!! Mussels to die for so refreshing and moreish. Prosciutto pizza amazing toppings and perfect crust! Stoked with everything! Cheers team keep it up Food: 5/5
Beautiful spot, friendly staff and delicious food. Slightly on the expensive side but left satisfied. The Margherita pizza tasted authentic and the handcut fries were perfect and of a generous portion size. Plenty of parking when we visited.Food: 5/5
The low reviews for this place have to be the most ridiculous I have ever seen. This is without doubt one of the best bars I have ever been to. The view is incredible, the pizzas are fantastic, the wine is spot on and the service beyond fantastic. Don’t believe the nonsense, swing by for a fantastic experience.Food: 5/5
The views were amazing. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and the muscles were to die for. We enjoyed the experience so much, we went the evening after. A must visit while visiting Akaroa.Food: 5/5

The Harbar is in a great spot with harbour views. Signs warned they are short staffed and menu reduced as a result. There was quite a wait to be served originally. The menu was limited to Tacos and fish and chips, our tacos turned up in reasonable time and were tasty. If you are not in a rush it's a nice place to go and just take in the views with a drink and a light meal.
