Took away the New York Cheesecake and an Orange Almond Cake from here. Both were amazing.. very tasty, very heavy and filling.
We had different cakes and everyone of them was delicious. The latte I had was perfect. Above all, the smiley friendly faces servicing you are refreshing.Recommended dishesCroissants, Walnut and Caramel Slice of Cake
Staff were a bit rude they serve pastries in the front and ice cream out back, but there was no one at the back. Asked if there was anyone serving there but got told off. I get it, there's only 2 of you but please be nicer next time : Thickshake was horrible. 2 little scoops of ice cream and lite milk. Raspberry tasted more like cough syrup. Sorry but it's genuinely the worst shakes we've ever had. Maybe up the ice cream next time?
As french I was expecting a typical "french breakfast" and I've been completely disappointed. The staff was not friendly and I'd say even rude. The location is OK but not that many choice for the food and not high quality. I wouldn't recommend it maybe for a coffee but I haven't tried so I can not tell.
One of the worst smoothies I’ve had. Had the mixed berry and all it tasted of was almond milk and a hint of banana. Not happy Jan
Being a lover of French cuisine, this place is my go to for breakfast when staying in Akaroa. Freshly baked croissants straight out of the oven at 7am. Fantastic flat white and butter and jam with our croissants. Pull up a seat outside and enjoy your breakfast while watching the start of the day unfold on the harbour. Stunning views! Soooo relaxing
Hey had breakfast here, my wife is celioec and had no trouble getting a good meal. I had the croc mousier and a coffee, it reminded us both of our trip to France in 2011. A wonderfull place with very nice food.
Best coffee I’ve had in a long while, it was hot, and the food was incredible here. The staff are also so lovely
Small and cozy local bakery cafe. I only tried the coffee which taste good. It looks like that they also serve nice quick lunch and cakes. Price wise reasonable for the location.
Cosy small place with a good tasty coffee, recommend the Akaroa salmon sandwich and of course the croissant from the bakery. Small compact tables max 2-3 peoples which adds to the cosiness
