Absolutely delicious fine dining lamb rump and baked chocolate cheesecake! We've just travelled around the South Island and this is one of the best meals we've had. Highly recommend.
Just went for drinks and some food. Nice service but a bit pricey. Well worth having a nice evening tho.
Simple yet very tasty and well prepared food, lamb salad and fish burger sat very well. Surprising craft beer menu from Canterbury locals and other kiwi icons - well worth a stop in! Very well priced.

Great place, good food selection and a nice beer garden outback but you have to be inside by 11pm as it states on a poster. Friendly, helpful staff as well. Good selection of Craft and standard beers on tap.
My great great grandfather owned this pub in 1913 and it's still standing 2day they even brew their own special ale fabulous setting 4 a quiet ale or a hearty meal
Friendly service with a lovely outdoor seating area. Great kids menu and good fish meals
Enjoyed our meal but not a lot of choice if your a vegetarian
It certainly isn't as pretty as the picture, and the staff are decidedly average. They are good at following the age laws for serving alcohol though.
